The Talleys’ Debut
Brian Alvey made his first appearance as a member of the group this past weekend at the Gatlinburg Gathering and received a rousing ovation from the audience. Here is a shot of the Talleys on stage for the first time as a foursome.

That is wonderful. I can’t wait for you guys to come to New Mexico some time.
We were in attendance at the Gatlinburg Gathering and so enjoyed Brian’s debut with the Talley’s and of course all of the Talley’s. He is such a natural, fitting in with the family group. Just a ‘God Thing’ I know. You two make a beautiful couple, so happy you two are. We pray for God’s blessings upon your marriage and singing ministry for the entire family. Look forward to some wonderful music from the 4some. It is so good to see entire families involved in the singing ministry. Makes for some good harmony.
Lauren…..will you please submit the foursome quartet singing on youtube for those of us who were unable to join you in Gatlinburg….

I was listening to the radio a few days ago and heard your song “In Christ Alone” for the first time. I immediately came home and downloaded your album Songs in the Night from iTunes. I just want to tell you that you are amazingly talented and I have never heard anything that moved me like your performance of “In Christ Alone.”
Recently heard the music “More” while on my way to work. Really appreciated it and am wondering where I might get the music and lyrics.

Just wanted to let you guys know that i enjoyed your singing saturday at let freedom ring.Yall were amazing .
Heard the ‘new’ Talleys sing at NQC via the webcast & loved it! Brian adds a new dimension to an already great group!
got “Songs In The Night” and love all of them for different reasons. “Behold The Lamb” is so worshipful…..sometimes i use songs as my devotions and at night i can close my eyes and hear “Songs In The Night” and “Behold The Lamb” with my eyes close and i will become enveloped by the Holy Spirit….the words speak to me and help me to speak the same to the Lord. it is such a precious time with the Lord and i….thank you…your music and words help to make that possible. Blessings to your whole family and on your new marriage. May God always be the Head. Pat Bowers
Saw the Talleys with Brian Alvey at the NQC. Brian adds a lot to the Talleys sound, both as a soloist and as part of the group. Really enjoyed this addition to the group!
Mrs. Lauren,
I LOVE your the song Songs in the Night and Just as I am! They both give me goosebumps everytime that i listen to them! They mke me realize how blessed and fortunate I really am:’) Thank you for continuing to serve the Lord. You have the most beautiful voice;) I could listen to you sing 24-7! You really let the Lord shine through you and the songs that you sing. Please continue to do so. You and your wonderful family are continually in my thoughts and prayers;)

I heard you sing @ Emmanuel Bapt Ch in Carthage, NC last night. Wonderful service! Your voice touches heaven every time I hear you sing in person or on JOY-FM. I bought your book. I too have hit a rough patch in the road. It started with me about 11 years ago when I started going through menopause. I feel like a train wreck on most days. Family stressors and the lifestyle choices of our oldest son are not helping the situation. There are some days, if I could, I would just stay in bed all day long and hide from the world. Also got hit with adult cystic rosacea acne that is unrelenting no matter what the dermatologist has tried. I know what Paul was referring to as a “thorn in the flesh.” Please, please, please pray for me. I’m a registered nurse. I can’t half help my clients because I can’t help myself on most days.

Hey Lauren!
We just watched y’all ‘live stream’ from Sevier Heights. What a blessing! Bug said it would have been something to have been there and experienced it live! We would have but we all have ‘the crud’!
I have been meaning to write you for several days to tell you what a blessing the songs from the CD Stories and Songs have been to me especially Thou O Lord and Applause. Thou O Lord has been like a balm for my soul since Bug & I have been ‘forced to resign’ our positions at church. I think Rachel shared some with you at GG. I couldn’t help but think tonight when your mom said her mom had been playing for 61 years that my years of service (25) was a drop in the bucket to hers!
But it does feel strange not going to the piano on Sunday Mornings…or to have any other positions after 40 plus years. But I believe that God has a plan…..
I think of my father-in-law who went home to be with the Lord this past June when I hear the song Applause and our dear precious missionary friends who are on their way to stay with us for 3 months in my mother’s little house! See I told you God has a plan…..:-) Such an appropriate song….
Thanks for all you do for the Lord and keep on living the life you do for Him! Hope to see you somewhere soon!
Love ya!
Amy
PS Brian sounded good tonight too!
