enLighten staying!
We did it! Due to the volume of emails, phone calls and cards from folks who love gospel music, Sirius/XM has reversed their decision and agreed to keep EnLighten on their satellite service! Effective today, you can listen to your favorite gospel artists on channel 18, the new home for EnLighten.
We greatly appreciate all of your efforts to support gospel music and your favorite artists. We believe this has alerted Sirius/XM to the large number of subscribers who love gospel music and hopefully we will be able to reach even more people through this medium. Stay tuned to EnLighten on channel 18 for some familiar voices!
This is fantastic. Score one for southern gospel music lovers and the Christian family. We need to be more proactive instead of the “silent majority”.

Awesome!! I’m glad the email to XM paid off. I would have really missed enLighten
if they took it off. Actually this morning when I turned XM on in the car, one
song was just finishing and then came on one of your songs, “Simply Unexplainable” and it was great to hear an awesome song before I got to work!!
When I started my car this morning, I realized the channels were changed around. I was so excited when I found out enLighten will still be available!

I was so excited that the prayers were answered. This is just wonderful and I have been smiling ever since – I sent them an e-mail thanking them for keeping Enlighten on the air and hope everyone does the same.
I am so thankful that finally Christians stood up for something together and look we actually made a difference..I love EnLighten and am dancing for joy because it is still on the XM stations.

Just goes to prove that if and when Christians stand up for their beliefs that Jesus Christ will honor their prayers and requests. I’m glad that a host of Southern Gospel listeners were able to explain that their message and music is every bit as important as the 20+ channels devoted to Metal, Rock, and Urban sounds. For now,”it is well” with our music….
I love your music and i can see God lives in your life and he is part of what you do and say…I have heard you and your family in concert in Savannah Tn. when yall where there the weekend they had the singing with Josh and Ashley Franks….yall do an awesome jobs keep up the good work… I LOVE SOUTHERN GOSPEL MUSIC…

Great, Glad to hear that GODS people and good ole southern gospel lovers stuck together,, and with Gods help,, our voice was heard. Yawl keep singing and we will keep listening !
It is listed as a limited engagement. Does that mean that they will not be staying there? If enlighten goes off the air we will progably cancel as enlighten is the main reason we have serius.
I am curious however that the channel is listed as limited engagement. Any word on whether they will change the channel to Enlighten or will they move it to a more permaent channel number?
I believe it was put on channel 18 temporarily.
Praise God. God does answer prayers. I emailed a letter to Sirus and got 2 replies. I prayed and God Answered. Keep up the good work. Ralph
I emailed xm Radio and have been listening to xm 18 but it is not enlighten did I miss something?
