Hi Lauren, looking forward to seeing you in September when you come to Washougal Washington. It is just up the road from our place. Kathie and I enjoyed you when we were able to spend some time with you when you performed at Mila’s church in Portland Oregon. See you then, we are enjoying the Talley Tree O e-mails also and the videos. Anxious to get your book!
My vote went to “In Christ Alone.” Great song, incredible arrangement!
Mine went to that too
Its an ammazing song!
They were all great choices but I must choose one of the greatest songs ever written In Christ Alone
You know, I don’t know whether I’d ever thought about placing it as among the greatest songs ever written, but I’m thinking you have a point.
It’s easily one of the best songs written in the last decade or so.
At any rate, this is just my personal opinion, but I think it needs to be heard on Southern Gospel radio!
The whole album is fantastic. I have enjoyed listening to it and find different songs mean more at different times. The one I’m enjoying now is track 9, “Behold the Lamb”.
WELL, That just gives me an excuse to listen to the whole CD while I’m packing & then I’ll vote
Hi Lauren. I like all three of those songs. But since a lot of people have done
In Chirst Alone, and decided to go with Just As I Am. It’s a unique song and I
really like the lyrics.
We voted for In Christ alone…….. God bless you!!!!
Mark And Liz
I still think that you should do an album with The Oak Ridge Boys, they are nice people and they undioubtly have one of the best band in the business. My best to you & your family, Joseph Taylor, USAF/Ret
That would be a VERY interesting combination!
Hi Lauren, In Christ Alone, hands down. You really wail on that song, girl, (but when do you not…?!:) ) And the best reason for you to do it is because it’s one of my favorites!
I love all of the songs on the Songs In The Night CD, but on In Christ Alone you really do get to go all over the place vocally, and when you sing the words He Rose Again – WOW!
Love it! Yep, this is the one.
Love,
Lisa
I voted for “In Christ Alone”.
I would love for you guys to come to south Georgia! Could you send some info about booking you guys. Oh, I loved all the songs, but voted for In Christ Alone. Great song, I hope all make the top 10!
I voted for “In Christ Alone”
I just love In Christ Alone and so many of your other music. I am thankful that you are letting God use you in such a wonderful way. I help God will let me sing in Heven with you…
In Jesus Christ Love
Martha
I voted for “The Wildest Places” because it is a very unique song and I love the words. I have never heard a song like that one and it is quickly becoming one of my favorite songs.
There’s no question…”WILDEST PLACES” is THE greatest song ever written – and it’s under 3 minutes – radio will love it. Just my humble opinion…
Mr. Funderburk, you’re pretty funny! But I do love your songs!
Lisa
Thanks Lisa – I’m funny AND biased!
I’ve already voted for “The Wildest Places,” but can I change my vote now?
)
Sorry, but I think you’re stuck!
I love every song on this album. Wildest Places is one I like to listen to in my car – I have a good 2 hours a day on the road, so I like the upbeat, happy songs that don’t make me cry. But I had to vote for In Christ Alone because that was the first “favorite” song of mine from the album. Which just means it was the first song I played over and over and over – well – you get it. They have now all had their turn as “favorite”! Love you all – take care!
I like Just as I am. This the song that is sung after every Billy Graham cruscade. It toughes peoples hearts. Ralph
Ralph – Actually, this is a different song by the same name.
Lauren,
I read your book tonight! Something I donot normally do is read, but I could not put it down. God said , Carla you need this, just read it! Thanks for writing it, you lifted my spirits, and I am grateful and have been blessed by it!

Hello dear Lauren!
I guess I’m the only Mongolian fan of yours.
I love to sing, and I usually try to sing your songs.
People are blessed and touched through my songs, and
they are curious about where I get those meaningful and powerful songs, and
so I get an opportunity to introduce them you.
I hope many more people in Mongolia will listen to your songs, and be blessed.
My dream is to spread the gospel through music like how you do.
hi lauren i voted for in christ alone. have a wonderful week.
We, love the song In Christ Alone!!!! What a blessing you are to sing this music and bless people to bring them to the lord!!! We were blessed to see you sing last October, and our daughter Tali, was so excited to see you and come up front and sing a song with you at the endof the concert.
May, the Lord continue his blessing on your life and music!!!

Hi Lauren,
‘In Christ Alone ‘ is a wonderful song and I’ve voted for it.
Sharon
My vote is for “In Christ Alone”! Love it Fran
That’s tough because all of these are a favorite for different reasons!
But for this purpose I think I’ll cast my vote for Just As I Am!
Love ya!
Amy
My vote is Just as I am…I can’t wait to see you at Central BAptist Church in Kannapolis, The invite is still open for you to join us at our Sunday morning service at 10:30, we will be serving dinner after the service.
Sloan Lake Community Church, China Grove, NC 28023
You are a true blessing to me as a new christian!!
In Christ Alone–hands down!!
Well I just wish you could send them all
But I guess since I had to vote only once…..my vote went to “In Christ Alone”. Lauren, you knock that song right oughta the park. I bout shout every time I hear it…..especially on that big note
. But if you decide to send a 3rd single…..I’d vote “Just as I Am”
Me to Laurens ammazing at that song! Noone could ever sing it like her!
You got that right
.
Hey Lauren, My choice is leading! WooHoo!
Wanted to tell you it’s a beautiful, hot, steamy Friday down here in New Orleans, and there is a definite smell of fresh oil in the air!
Hope you’re having fun where you are right now.
Love,
Lisa
65% for In Christ alone? Lauren you did a wonderful version of this long time favorite, but I would like to see the music that is more “you” shine through for your singles. The Wildest Places was my pick, because it sounds like your gospel-oriented, Talley-flair sound with your amazing lyrics. Just As I Am is nice as well, again with heartfelt lyrics, but a tad slow for a radio single. The Wildest Places showcases Talley style so well, is a fun, upbeat song, and is sure to get the attention of those who don’t believe and get them listening to your great music as well. That’s exactly what happened with my Mom…she loves country music…and now she really likes your music.
Ummm. You know how hard this is?? Ummmm. There all goodd! I cant pick!! But if i had to In Christ alone(: Whew! That was hard loll!
Cant wait til July 19th (: Im in the forth row! I Confinced my mom to get me vip tickets! Haha!
Im ment July 10Th (:
Wait or maybe just as i am! I Love that song! Its got a good message but so does In Christ Alone!
Hi, Lauren! I voted for In Christ Alone! Keith and Kristen Getty are AWESOME songwriters! I also love your arrangement. I’m only 14 years old and I KNOW that this is awesome, QUALITY, thought through music! Your tone in your voice is perfection…PERFECT qlarity!
Can’t WAIT for your next CD.
P.S. I LOVE Behold the Lamb!!! I’m even singing it this Sunday at church!
I voted Just as I am…. I couldn’t have asked for a better song to be listening to right now so I thank God for leading me to your music as well as your Familys… Me and my Grandma are on our second song by you to sing in our Church .
I hope there’s another album to come from you just as good as this one !!
Truly a blessing to me
Thank you
I voted for “The Wildest Places,” because it’s a good “radio song” that would really stand out in the mix on a typical SG station. “Just As I Am” might be a better choice to reflect the overall style of your new CD, though.
You do a great job on “In Christ Alone,” but I tend to prefer originals over remakes for radio singles. I’m not surprised it’s getting the most votes so far in the poll. More people were already familiar with the song. Of the three, though, it would be my third choice.

My dad and I are thinking of attending The Talley Trio concert in Springdale, Arkansas on July 9th, and we are curious if we will need tickets or if it is a love offering. I have been trying to contact the church but I have not gotten a hold of them yet. Thanks!!!
Wow! I love them all, but agree with the “In Christ Alone” as the one to release next! It’s nice to be in the “majority” for once! This song (especially this arrangement) really ministers to folks. The release would be great for you, Lauren, and for the folks listening. Everyone needs to get this CD…it’s the best on the market now, imho. Hugs and prayers, Wanda
Lauren, love the song “In Christ alone”. I really like the way you sing it. Wish we could see you guys soon. Wanted to let you know that I am having my surgery Tuesday, June 29th. It will take about 7 to 8 hours. Mark will be updating my michellesmoments website after my surgery. I appreciate your prayers during this time. Love ya, Michelle T.

Hi Lauren. just two hours ago, on my way home on an 11 hr. trip from Atlanta, i listened to the “Songs in the Night” CD without knowing about your survey of Talley fans. so while “just as i am” by itself is good stuff, after hearing you sing “in Christ alone” at the “Extra Mile” event, that song had my vote before this post ever came out. just the way you were able to switch instantly from singing softly to belting out the power within that song, gave me shivers that day. your version of “in Christ alone” tops all others on YouTube and every other venue! Love the Lord, AND the Talleys ~ GO LAUREN ! Spike
Hey there, Spike,
How the heck are you doing? Just wanted to say hi.
Lisa C.
spike! how are you doing!
Lauren, you all did an outstanding job last night at the Singing in the Foothills. We so enjoyed the testimonies and songs. The Lord is doing a great work in you. Keep up the good work, eat good food, (hiking is a great way to exercise and meet God), drink lots of water to be healthy so that you can stay as beautiful as you are. Lots of fruit keeps you healthy by the way (Revelation -tree of 12 fruits).
God Bless you and your family.
I voted for In Christ Alone
hear, hear, man! You’ve got good taste! lol
Hey Lauren it would have to be In Christ Alone.
I love “In Christ Alone,” but it is well-known to many people And while this is the best arrangement I’ve ever heard, I went with “Just As I Am.”
Lauren, I have to say they are all great songs with great messages! Im sure they all will bless people everywhere, but I personally voted for Just As I am, because it is so personal to me right now, and it has a great message! Reminds me daily, that no matter what I do, or whenever I fail or fall, which Ive dont alot lately, that God still loves me and will…just as I am, weak, sick, angry, etc. It is just a great song, and has become one of my favorites! BUT, you are great and so are all the songs! Keep up the great work and ministry, Cant wait to see you again soon! Are you coming back to Shipsewana, IN in August? God Bless!
Lauren,
My vote was for Just as I am, I love that song! I have it on my ipod and I listen to it all the time. it is quickly becoming a new favorite. I like the other two also. the wildest places is very fun. and in Christ alone is really good too.
I hope to see you guys at the NQC this year!
love and prayers,
Jess
sadly i must admit i have not heard the entire cd but the free download of the song for joining laurens web page (FAN CLUB) was a great song and i don’t even remember the name of it ( pretty pathetic, huh ) so if you have’nt done that one already as a single it would be a good one to use.i love your voice but i think what i love more, maybe your sincerity ( from the heart ) when you sing.
Of your three choices I voted for In the Wildest Places because I had not heard it before and the song I would have chosen was not listed. Your voice and your groups singing is great with whatever you sing.
I would have to say “Just As I Am”. It has a beautiful message, as do the others also. But, to me it means that God will not leave us ,He will take us beyond what we ever could imagine. That one would have to be my pick.
Laren – I go for “In Christ Alone” all your songs are good. I like them all. I pray for you that you coninued to do what you are doing. I love you and your family.
THanks
Vera
I wanted to thank you and your family for your appearance in Waco, KY last week. It was just wonderful to hear your beautiful music and wonderful testimony. Please take care of yourselves, you are very special folks!
May God continue to bless you all,
Linda
I received “Songs In The Night” CD and I enjoyed the songs; “The Extra Mile”, “He will Carry You”, “In Christ Alone”, and, “My Life Is In Your Hands”.
Maybe a malfunction on the site? I had not voted before but the auto reply said I had… Anyway, “In Christ Alone” is my pick–a classic song…
Melanie, is there any chance that anyone else from your family also likes the Talley Trio and could have voted? That would definitely cause it to remember, since unfortunately I’m not quite smart enough to program this site to recognize if two different people are sitting at the same computer (but that would be kind of creepy, so I wouldn’t do it if I could!) So it remembers based on whether someone at that computer has voted before.
daniel I ask lauren about the video that was done at the extra mile she said she throught it was download in some way but that you would know?
It hasn’t been made released in any format, whether DVD or Internet download yet. There was some talk of releasing it, but I’m not sure what the time frame would be.
Just wanted to tell you how much of a blessing you were to me at Central Baptist Church this past Sunday. Lauren, You have an angel for a mother.
See you in Gatlinburg!! Be safe!
Love listen to you sing and wish that you and your parents would come to Oklahoma and sing to us out here .May God bless and keep you safe and watch over you all .. thanks ..
Here and her family are coming to Bristow Ok, July 10th. Tickets are 15 dollars! Im going then and im veryy excitedd!! And there coming to owasso in augest on the 8th or 9th im not sure on that one(: Hope you can come out!
Hey Lauren! My choice is still way ahead – Woo Hoo! Hope it stays that way.
Love your voice singing that song.
Love,
Lisa
Voted for “Just As I Am”. Love that song!!! =)
“In Christ Alone” is my choice for radio play. It will be fun to see which song is chosen. I couldn’t find a spot to place my vote so I’m assuming that we do it in this box.
Janice,
The poll ran for two weeks, and closed this morning. But your pick (and mine!) won, so all ends well!
I think Just As I Am should be the next single.
I love your version of In Christ Alone, however, that’s all over the radio.
You need something original from you that you can put out there:).
Also… BEHOLD THE LAMB .. ahh! I love that song so much.
I listen to this CD in my car everyday every time I’m in the car. & everytime I hear “Behold The Lamb” I cry… it’s so powerful the way you sing.
But, from the choices… JUST AS I AM!!
It was great seeing ya’ll in Springdale, Arkansas last night. Ya’ll were amazing. I had the time of my life. This past year I have had to make alot of tough decisions in the last year. Seeing ya’ll always lifts my spirits. My dad had never seen ya’ll in concert before and he loved it. Thanks for coming. I hope that ya’ll come back close again.
God Bless,
Kasey
