What a Week!
This has been one of the most exciting weeks of my life! The Extra Mile conference last Saturday and the long-anticipated release of the “Songs In The Night” book, CD, e-book, audiobook and downloads this week truly was the start of a New Beginning in my life and ministry. I’m so thankful for everyone who participated in the conference and I really enjoyed meeting everyone whose names I have only seen on a screen. 
It was a big thrill for me to get to teach from my new book and perform my new songs live…albeit a little scary! When you’ve never done those live, you don’t know what could happen But for me, the greatest part of the whole experience was hearing the life stories of the people who came and the testimonies of what they received from the Lord that day. We saw two people come to know the Lord last Saturday and many others told me how the Lord had begun a great work in their lives as well. Seeing lives transformed is truly what it’s all about and I’m even more inspired now to get this message to even more people so they can have the same experience.

Dear Lauren,
Nice to hear it has been one of the most exciting weeks of your life. Yes, the Extra Mile was amazing and so glad I drove all the way there from Massachusetts(where it is raining again today). Although it was a long drive home on Sunday all 14 1/2 hours of it(940 miles) but I got home safely. A wonderful new beginning for you and the ministry you are doing is really meaningful. I am sorry I wasn’t brave enough to say hello to you in person, I am a quiet/shy person in general but I know how much the Extra Mile helped me-a lot. I personally am glad I allowed the Lord back into my life. I have had a long road back after being raped by that “evil” woman a long time ago. The biggest thing I lost in my life was the faith I had in God. I kept thinking why did this happen to me, guys don’t get raped but I found out they do. When I shut God out of my life for awhile my life was totally empty-I was living but not living, if that makes any sense. Listening to you Lauren and Debra also helped me a lot to see how very strong I am inside of myself. I just have to believe that I am worthy of good things. I look forward to the Power Study which I signed up for with Daniel when I was there. Honestly I am nervous about it but March 20th really did inspire me to try to better myself. So, with your Power Study and Debra’s Confidence Class-it will be a great start for me. Your music however on Enlighten 34 is what first triggered something inside of me and that is what led me to going to the Extra Mile because I wanted more-not sure what I was looking for but I found out what I received that day means so very much to me. YOU HELPED ME FEEL GOOD ABOUT MYSELF-I needed that, so thank you. You made my special day special for me-as did Debra and Roger to. Please continue what you are doing because you are making a difference in my life, others lifes and most importantly your own life. I am very proud of you Lauren and enjoy your week.

I’m sorry I missed the program. Are you going to make a DVD of the day? Probably a lot of people would really like that.

We decided to do the Power Study in place of a DVD. I want folks to be able to interact with me and others in the study, not just watch. So with the Power Study, you get all the teaching throughout the WHOLE book, plus homework questions and a weekly conference call with all the participants and myself. Hope you join us!

Hey Lauren, I am still replaying the whole day in my mind…it was the best thing I have experienced in SSSSOOOOO long! I needed a revival in my soul. Everything about the day was so wonderful! I can’t wait for the Power Up study. I am hoping my Sunday School ladies will join me. I haven’t stopped listening to your “songs in the night” cd since our trip home! It is so wonderful! Thank you so much for following the Lord in the way He is leading you to do new and somewhat scary areas in your life! He is using you to help though of us who need to hear what you have to say! Hi Lauren! The Extra Mile Event was a blast! I am so glad that I attended. You are so right that this is not only the start of a new beginning for you, but I believe it’s absolutely a new beginning for me. I was compelled to be at the first event, and I am so happy I followed my heart and was there. You should be so proud! What an absolutely terrific job you and your family did with this conference. I can’t thank you enough for the music, the spiritual education and spiritual uplifting. It was an amazing event and a great time. I was so impressed that y’all made it so personal and that you and your Mom were so incredibly sweet to everyone and how you two touched everyone who reached out to you at this event.
There was a moment during your solo concert when you began to cry. I think you were singing Behold The Lamb. It was so touching that in the beginning of the song you just became overwhelmed and your tears flowed, but you just kept singing through your crying, even when you couldn’t form the words, you just kept on singing… and recovered… and finished that beautiful song. My heart just filled up for you. The one who doesn’t like being emotional. The one who doesn’t cry in front of people.
I just wanted to hug you.
I have to tell you I love your new cd. Probably like everyone else who drove to the event, your new songs accompanied me all the way home. What terrific song choices and what an amazing voice. Your solo concert at the event was so much fun. To get to hear you sing your new songs was such an emotional treat.
And I want to THANK YOU for helping me. Your young heart is so big. Look at what you have already done in your life. You are SO good at this. Put those sunglasses on, Lauren – You have such a bright shiny future ahead of you. I hope this note is not too mushy, ’cause I think I’m kinda overflowing here. But I’m still feeling it from the Event. I’m sending hugs to all of you. I hope you can feel ‘em!

I really love your music. I sings to my soul. I have your surrender cd and plan to get the others. I also have the surrender soundtrack. But I do have a problem, when I moved I lost the lyrics to the songs on the soundtrack. how do I get them without buying another cd? I have several favorites on that cd. I am trying to find the others here but I will buy them online if needed. You are truly blessed by God.

Hi Lauren! We all (the Georgia girls) had a great time at the conference. You did a fabulous job presenting – just like you’d been doing it for years! I LOVE your CD. I’ve been playing it over and over. It really speaks to me. The event was so powerful, I just can’t even describe it. I had been denying it for so long, but I’ve been fighting depression. In the last week I feel like I’ve got my joy back. I’m so happy, I just want to shout. And now it’s almost Easter when we’ll be celebrating what we’ve all got to shout about! He Lives! WhoooHooo! Oh, I got so excited, I forgot to ask – Is the Power Up study fee per person or per computer? I have some ladies in my Bible study who don’t have computers, so we’re trying to figure out how we could do it.

Lauren, was not at The Extra Mile Event but saw you in concert at First Baptist, Lake Wales on the 27th. It was such a blessing. I have been singing The Broken Ones and The Healer every day since. Yes, I was the one in the front row crying my eyes out when Debra was talking about having to put Roger’s mom in the nursing home. I lost my mom to Alzheimer’s just a little over a year ago. The whole concert was so uplifting and therapeutic and such a blessing for me. Thank you and your family for sharing your God-given talents in such a loving, personal way. I will be praying for you and the family as you continue your ministries.

what a powerful, joyful, and wondrously GOD-INSPIRED day !! this was even BETTER than i anticipated !
both Lauren and Debra were fantastic as they fluidly spoke from their hearts in a very dear and caring way to us all. i promise you this; you two Talley ladies touched a few raw nerves, feelings, and emotions, which made me sit up and take notice, NOW ! THANK YOU is the least i can say ! you see, so much of what you both said directly applied to me, and lifted me to a new high !! i was also touched in a very spiritual and personal manner with the over-flow sharing of Christian love from the Trio, and all the participants. i was just totally impressed with the whole day . it was evident that a lot of prayerful preparation went into every well-planned detail.
and the final result? >>> with the LORD at their sides, our beloved Talley Trio, individually, and as a group, once again remain at the top of their game with their warm, heart-felt, down-home Christian witness delivered from a personable, new context !!

I am so excited for you all and what the Lord is doing and will continue to do. I have been and will continue to pray for you and this ministry. Many people need to hear and heal from what you have been teaching. I ordered your book and CD and got it this Tuesday. Love the CD, it is amazing. Will start reading the book tomorrow while I am at MD Anderson. I am excited to start reading it. I know I will be blessed, as I am every time I see you guys. The love of the Lord just flows off of you all and you can feel His presence when you all go on stage. I so appreciate all that you guys are doing and pray that the Lord will richly bless you. Wish I could have gone to the extra mile, but I thank you for all you did at the conference. The comments I have read have been so encouraging. I am going to commit to praying for those who went and received help and healing. For them it has just begun, and I know that God will continue to do more in their lives. So good to hear from you! I was hoping to see you in Pigeon Forge, but of course I understand. If you and your girls want to get in on the Power Study and Mom’s class that will be a great way for you to still be part of everything that happened. What’s the latest on your health? Say hi to the family for us!
Hi, we had such a blessed time at the event..I don’t know how you and you mom managed to tailor you ministering just to my daughter and me. I don’t know why all those other people were there. LOL I am sorry we didn’t get to talk with you at lunch..we had an episode of missing keys that had to be found, which we did, so we were able to drive home.
After we left the conference, we drove to Nashville to spend the night with Japanese missionary friends of my parents who retired there. I haven’t seen them in about 10 years, and I might not see them again until we meet in heaven. We had a wonderful time.
The man has late stage Alzheimer’s and it was sad to see such a might man of God weakened in this way. God has blessed them with 5 Godly children who are nearby to help at this time and keep him very comfortable. In spite of this, Betty repeated over and over again how blessed she is, and once again my daughter and I were lovingly ministered to. We were all crying when we had to leave them Sunday morning for our 12 hour drive home.
I came home and gave my CD and book to a woman from church who has struggled with depression for quite some time. She was just recently diagnosed with breast cancer and just started chemo. I thought the CD and book would help her get through this difficult time. I am going to order another book for myself. I hope to take your power study if finances permit. Could you please sign the copy? My CD’s were signed, and my daughter’s book was signed, but my book that I gave away was not.

Hey Lauren! I am a fan of your singing (you are my favorite) It is just so anointed! I could not go to the extra mile event because of financial reasons. Same with the classes. I wanted you to know that you are a blessing to me though and I listen to your music all the time! I can’t wait to read your book and hope to do it soon. I know the extra mile could have helped me. I suffer with depression and needed an encouraging word but thats ok God can give me all I need. Just wanted to stop in and let you know how much you and your music means to me!
