POWER STUDY
If you attended my session at The Extra Mile Event, you experienced the power of group study. This was a New Beginning for me and the kind of ministry I intend to be adding into my life. I’m inviting you now add your own New Beginning to mine.
Join me for an 8 week study of how to overcome the bad things that happen in life through faith and biblical study. If you attended the Extra Mile, this is a way to follow up, continue and deepen; if you were one of those who asked me to make a DVD of the event, this is for you–the real thing, not just a copy, and much more. We’ll have weekly written lessons with “homework” AND I’ll be on the phone with you every week to talk through the lessons and how they relate to exactly where YOU you are in YOUR life.
Our discussion will be private, just among us. It will all happen here but in a special “members-only” area protected by your own personal password.
We’re gonna delve much deeper into the study. We’re gonna get really specific on how these things apply to your life, not just mine….
It’s going to be interactive, I’m gonna talk to you; you’re gonna talk to me; it’s going to be really powerful….
We’re gonna be talking about how to move past painful circumstance and what to do when God’s will for your life takes a detour. We’re gonna talk about praying for something for a long time and never seeing results. We’re gonna talk about a lot of things that knock us down and how we can be picked back up.
This would be an awesome small group study for your church. Or mothers and daughters–this would be an awesome study for you to do together…I imagine my Mom and I will be going through it together.
The Power Study begins on April 26th and goes for 8 life changing weeks. The cost is $67 divided into 2 payments, one ($33.50) when you sign up; and the other ($33.50) in thirty days so you’re not paying all at once.

dear talley trio,i’m not for sure but i think i may have committed a crime against you.let me explain i’m a member of gaither community and they have a place where people can post video’s.since i have your c-d hope for tomorrow and the song i love the LORD i made a homemade video using all background pictures of Israel beautiful rainbows and just fantastic shots of mtns and rivers,etc,etc.i said on the heading that by far your’s was the best rendition of the song i had ever heard.then just a while ago i read on your c-d case that it may not be reproduced.it does’nt make me feel very smart or wise and i certainly did’nt do it for any kind of gain for myself but i immediately deleted it from the site.all i can do is plead ignorance and forgiveness from you for doing this.i’m truly sorry and i thank you for listening.darrell hilton.grayson,ky.
Dear Talley Trio, I would like to have bible study package. I just can’t order it off the internet. I wish I can get at some bookstore, which I think it might help me alot.

Lauren has Chronic Fitigue Syndrome, and I have Down’s Syndrome. I thank God that he gave us parents.

Since the study will be delivered online, it’s not possible for us to offer it at a store. Participants in the study will receive a password to access a special “members-only” area of the site. So if you can access the site normally, you will also be able to access the study with the password. Hope you join us!
I received your book and cd in the mail yesterday and I read the first half before I left for youth group and I read the other half after church last night. Once I started it I could not put it down. I have had alot of health problems in my life and some of them I should not of made it through because according to science there was no way for me to make it, but I know that God was in control and healed my body. My explaination to the doctors was “It’s A God Thing.” I am now reading it for the second time and I am reading my Bible along with it this time and what I thought was deep stuff before is even deeper now. This book is already changing my life ant it will continue to do so. It has taught me that it is ok to ask God why as long as you are willing to accept His answers. It has made me look at my life and see that I need to do better. My mom is already wanting me to hurry up so that she can read it, but I remind her that I need to read it first, and anyway it was my birthday present from my mom and dad. I got the d as well and it is wondeful normally I find my favorite song pretty quick, but I can’t seem to do that with this one because every song touches my heart. I have wanted something for so long that could make me look at my life differently and realise that God can use those trials for His Glory and your book did just that. Thanks for sharing your story with us.

The power study I was signed up by Daniel Mount. I have to compliment you on a job well done on your book, cd and your talk at the Extra Mile. You did awesome and I was touched by your sincerity. Please keep following the path you are on because something tells me it is the right one. You did very well and it meant a lot to me and during the concerts at night-I had to keep wiping my eyes because tears were forming. So, thank you for making my special day very special-the 940 mile drive to get there was worth it totally. THANKS.

Hi Lauren, I just finished reading you book. Very, well written. It really makes you think. As Christians, it’s hard to help others in need when we have not been through anything ourself. I have said many times, I understand how someone feels, but not really, until I suffered it myself. The Lord is so good to show us some new things and what we/He can do if we trust him. Well, somewhere on one of your websites I left a message about my experience at “The Extra Mile” Event but I can’t find it now!
Anyway I just wanted to add that I really appreciated both concerts that night also. I was touched by so many of the songs….the messages are so wonderful and get right to the heart! 
I wanted to ask if it will be possible to do both of the studies with Lauren and Debra at the same time or will there be an opportunity to do one of them at a later date?

You WILL be able to do both studies at the same time. Whether or not the studies will be offered at a later date has yet to be decided.

I have a really dumb question. Will the study be on a specific day of the week? I’m about 99% sure I”m going to participate! I will kind of have to finagle my work schedule a little but it’s worth it!

The Power Study seminar will be a weekly study. Lauren will post the study and the “homework” assignments at the beginning of each week and you can read and respond at your convenience anytime during the week. The follow-up phone conferences will occur once each week on a weeknight. Which night is not yet settled but the calls will be recorded and put on the Power Study “members-only” area of the website the next day, so that if you miss one of the calls you can listen or download it and listen later.

I just heard your family’s interview with Paul Heil on the Gospel Greats this weekend! Your newest CD sounds awesome. All the songs highlighted were nicely done-very uplifting and inspiring. Will Paul be doing a seperate interview with you sometime about “Songs in the Night”?

Hi Lauren, I saw you on Gospel Music Showcase today. You really touched my heart, it is so awesome to see you so on fire for our Lord. I first saw you and your parents on the Bill Gather show a few years ago, and have followed the Talley Trio ever since. You are such a beautiful witness for the Lord. I love to listen to you sing. I have gone through cancer, divorce, and other things in the last 3 years. God has been so faithful, but am still struggling. Listening to you today was real blessing. God knew it was exactly what I needed. After the program I cried and thanked God for you. I was very discouraged, I was. Thank you againdon”t ever stop.
With the price of this study are we suppose to get a book or anything or is the “homework” just from the bible and questions you post on the site. I wasn’t able to log in to the call last night and I am listening to it now and others are talking about the book, is that included?
i think what you doing is great my family is going through a hard time now if you havent read off me my dad and sister website my brother died in a car reck:( last year i than god every day for letting me be born nto a wonderful christain family because i dont know how i could get through this without God.
