Listen To My XM Radio Interview
Hey y’all,
I’m going to be the featured guest this week on “Daniel Britt and Friends,” which airs on SIRIUS XM SATELLITE RADIO’s enLighten (XM34; Sirius67) – Thursday at 10PM ET, and Saturday at 12 Noon ET. I’ll be talking about the “Songs In The Night” project, my personal story, and the Extra Mile event. So tune in and listen for me!

Lauren, i’ve been a big fan of yous ever since i heard you and your parents at the quartet convention several years ago. i have my radio tuned to xm-34 most of the time when i’m on the road. My wife, Dot, kids me about “that’s your girl friend” when we hear you on xm, but at the ripe old age of 80 and married for going on 58 yrs, i don’t have many girlfriends.
i’m just an admirer of beauty and talent and you have both. i’ll be praying for you in your new project. May God bless you and your family.

Hey Lauren, I heard a good bit of your interview last night. I was listening over at a friend’s, and I wanted to tell you that every time you were about to say something revealing, the sattelite signal would go out! It was like you’d go, “and at my darkest moment I…”… … … … …, silence! Of course, that’s not really what you said, but when you were about to say something serious – out that signal would go! Like I was just not meant to hear it! But that’s okay. I’ll be seeing y’all at the Extra Mile Event. I’m so looking forward to it. Can’t wait to experience the story live and in person. See you soon!

Okay, I couldn’t get the link to work either and went to Daniel Britt’s site and couldn’t find it. I wonder if it isn’t up yet since he will do a replay today? Just a shot in the dark, but that thought did come to mind. If anyone gets the interview, please let us know how to get it! Thanks!
Hi. I think since the interview is new, you have to LISTEN to it on one of the broadcasts listed. Perhaps eventually it will be archived.

Am listening to your interview on siirus radio. Love your music. Have been to several of your concerts.
So interesting to hear about your bout with mono. I was 50 yrs old and got mono.
It shortened my career and I still suffer with the chronic fatigue. Also became very depressed at the time. Please take care of your health. God is using you and your parents in a very critical time in this world.

Hi Lauren, I am from Northern Ontario Canada and I was driving in my car and turned the Satellite Radio on and your interview was on. Just want to let you know that I sat in my car out in my driveway cause the songs that I heard and your words ministered deeply to my heart. God has taken me through a difficult year because of the death of my husband, and all I knew what to do was to turn to the Rock that was Higher than I. He met me there! Your songs I heard have words that I can identify with and I want to purchase some of your CDs so that I can encourage others with the Songs and Words that the Lord has given to you to build the body of Christ up in Him. Hello Lauren. I got to hear your songs and interview with Daniel Britt on Saturday. I’m sorry to hear about what you had to go through during your time of sickness, but you can think of it this way. Had you not gotten sick none of the songs or the book would have come to past. I feel the Lord will use this as a great tool to minister to many. May the Lord bless you for taking the time to do this to glorify our Lord. Take care Lauren and may the Lord continue to bless you.
I have been off the computer for a week and just playing catch up now. I missed you on Daniel Britt and Friends but hope it will be rebroadcasted. I usually listen to his program but not the latest one with you on it.

i know this might sound silly but i love listening to your speaking voice just as much as your singing voice. i was able to purchase STAGES from the lighthouse christian bookstore sometime awhile back and thouroughly enjoyed the outtakes at the end, you know, when your mommy says “…since we’ve been travelling and singing…”. anyhow,…. i just love your twang. by the way, did you ever notice your eyes? they would get big ! i think it was delightfully funny. anyhow,…will def try to visit your website more often rather than every 6 months or so. look forward to finding your book and new cd. maybe one day i can find the time to sit and type all the stories i am dying to share w/ you abbout how your music has impacted my life. or better yet, if by the grace of god i can be in the same town where you will be performing and by even more grace explain and give a testimony in person.
