New Beginnings
Welcome! I’m so excited to introduce you to my new home online. On this site we will be able to talk to each other and share our stories, testimonies, and random, everyday thoughts.
This site represents a new season in my life. On the outside, changes might not be so apparent. But God is working in great ways in my life and He is leading me to share these changes with you. I am about to release my first book and fourth solo recording together titled Songs In The Night. This project has been two years in the making. It details personal struggles in my life, how God taught me and changed me during that time and how He wants to do the same for you. I know He has an awesome plan and I’m so excited to see it all unfold…..but I admit it’s exciting and scary all at once.
New beginnings can be scary. Who knows how it will all turn out? Only God can see the road ahead, and for someone who likes to drive fast (like me), being along for the ride is a little unnerving. Oh, sure, I trust God, but it’d be nice if He’d at least let me steer. But it doesn’t work that way. He asks us to trust Him and have childlike faith. We’re all on this journey together and I hope we can learn from each other along the way. So keep checking back- there’s lots more to come!

You are always a blessing to everyone who hears you. You touch our hearts. We love you and all of your musical family. It has been thrilling to watch as you have grown up before us. It is endearing to have you share what is in your heart and how God has walked with you during each new season of your life. May God richly bless you.–Susan
The new site is awesome! Can’t wait to hear the rest of the new CD!
Lauren I saw you and your parents at Mims Baptist last night. I can never explain to you how much your music blesses me. I do not care if I hear you seven days a week every time I see the Talleys I get such a rich blessing from ya’lls music. Did that sound southern enough? (Ya’ll) I can never thank you and your parents enough for coming to New Caney Family Worship Center and sharing Gods word thru song. I am looking forward to the new cd and yes I will even read your book even though reading is not one of my favorite things. God has blessed you so much. It is wonderful to see you use you talents for him. God bless you and your parents and have a wonderful and Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas to Y’ALL too
Merry Christmas to Y`ALL home
Wishing you and yours a Very Merry Christmas! May God be the Center of all your festivites.
I look forward to the release of your new CD and your 1st book! I have 2 folders of your music on my iPod and you have seen me through many a night at work. It sounds like your book will be a window into your very soul and I thank you for your honesty and openess to share that part of you. We all have struggles and yet, as Christians, we so often want to hide that part of ourselves and pretend with an “I have it all together” attitude. Thank you and God Bless
Love the new site Lauren. Can’t wait to hear your new album.

You go girl! The next chapter of your life is going to be awesome. Love ya!
Lauren that is such a beautiful song and so meaningful to me at this time. My young brother died suddenly a month ago, he had been suffering from cancer but the end came quickly and so very unexpectantly. Loosing Colin has devestated our family and listening to your song tonight has brought the tears flowing. Will be looking forward to yournew cd and to reading your book.
Blessings to you and your mother and father from your Scottish friend

Lauren, I’m really excited to hear about you new album and book. Can’t wait to hear it!! I’ can’t imagine what a person in your line of work has to struggle with on
a day to day basis. I’m sure the challenges are huge, but as you stated, God has to be the one that steers, I struggle with that as well, and we all need to trust God harder everyday.
We serve a awesome God,.he is always faithful!,..God Bless you!,.. in your new endeavor.
Dear Lauren,
As always your new song has blessed my heart and spoken to my soul. With many trials and losses during the past couple of years, I feel that I am in the night time hours so much of the time. This song helps to give me a greater perspective on things and encourages me so much. Thank you for allowing God to work through you to bring hope and joy to so many in this lost and dying world. You and your parents are truly my favorite gospel singers. Your mom has such a heart for people and especially sinners. Your music has helped me through many dark times in my life. God bless you always. In Christ’s love and mine, Shirley
I never dreamed God would answer a prayer just by me clicking on your website. Thank you for being His instrument yet again. Not just in the song, but in the message you wrote. May God continue to teach you and lead you as He uses you to minister to us. Thank you for being obedient to Him Lauren.
That’s exactly why I began this project! I’m so glad to hear that it was for you. Keep coming back…we’re just getting started.
Lauren,
Thank you SO MUCH for making this song available to us and using your talents to serve the Lord! This song is such a blessing to me! It absolutely made my day when I got off work and saw the email about this website! I pray that God would continue to bless you and your family as you labor in His service!
Because of Calvary,

Lauren, When we first heard you we knew you were so Anointed to sing for Jesus. This song reminds me of my what I like to call my JONAH experiance. It sounds like you have had yours too….. Where it seems like our Lord has to get us in the whales belly to get our attention…. But fully well knowing He works all things out for those who Love Him…. It was so nice to meet you and I really do hope to stay in touch with your career as your singing does lift me up. May God bless you Lauren.
Yours truly
Mark Payne from Amarillo Texas
Wonderful! Praise Him for using you to reach others for Him!

What a lovely song! Thanks for the email, too. Welcome into my life!!
Lauen……from one singer to another…..i can definitely see God’s hand on your life…i have watched you for many years and know that God is using and has used you in a mighty way for His kingdom. I had the pleasure of meeting you and your parents a couple years ago here in Winston Salem. You all are great people. Thank you for sharing your gift with us. It has touched many lives….that’s what is so special to me about sharing a song. We have the privelege of touching others and making a difference in their life by the words of a song that God has given us to share……may God continue to strengthen and encourage you each day!
Best regards,
Gary Boaz, Winston-Salem,NC
Lauren God has touched you and has truly given you a great gift. I enjoy your music and your strength to go forward for God. I cannot wait to read the book and hear the complete album. I feel now that God is bringing me to where he needs me to be in my life. And I am willing to go exactly where he wants me to go and do as he asks. He has brought me through some of those tough times and I give him the praise and glory for it. I appreciate your music and it is the testimony of your life. You are God’s daughter and you make your father proud as you carry on spreading his love to us all. LOL

Hey y’all,
My mamaw and papaw are about the same…hanging in there. Mamaw is in a steady decline, as is the nature of Alzheimer’s. We are just trying to make things as comfortable for her as possible. My papaw is trying to deal with things as best he can and take care of her. It’s a day-to-day challenge; we appreciate the prayers!
Sorry to hear that about your Mamaw. My stepfather is going through the last stages of Alzheimers too. It is hard on Mom but she is a trooper. I will be praying for you and yours. Love the song “Life goes on” it really touched me in a way that was a blessing to me.
merry christmas to all. tell mom and dad we said hello and we love you guys.
Anytime you and your family are in West Texas, we will drive several hundred miles to your concerts. We think that you have the best voice in Gospel Music. When you come to West Texas in January, we plan to attend at least one of your concerts and see you again. God Bless

i really need your prayes on wednesday afternoon because i have a very importment meeting to go to to see my laywer so say a prayer for me
Gotcha.
Wow Lauren. Does that ever speak to me in the direction God has headed me in. It confirms prophecies that God has given on my life over the years. One of them was giving songs in the night. Alot of times we tend to put things on the back burner simmering, waiting for them to bring back up to a full boil. Thank you for alowing the Holy Spirit to speak through you in song. It is where I am and where I am heading. Love always to you and your family. Say for me to your Mom. I think of you guys often.
Lauren,
You and your family have always been a great source of inspiration to me and my family. I look forward with great anticipation to your new projects. I hope all is well and I look forward to seeing you when you’re near me again. I try to go to each of your nearby concerts and take a “new” young person from church with me each time to share your beautiful gift with them. I can relate very much to this song as we’ve been going thru a lot lately as well. God bless you and keep doing what you do.
What a beautiful song, full of meaning and a song that all of us can relate to. I also want to say that I am glad you have your own website. Through the years I’ve watched you grow into a lovely woman, one of God’s work’s in progress who shows potential in many ways. Bless you sweetie!
Has anyone asked you how you got your picture in the little box instead of the colored quilt??? Just curious to know hot to do that.
God Bless,
Rachel
The webmaster puts my picture up there
Not sure if everyone has that option to upload a pic or not…but we can check on that.
It’s pretty simple, actually. Go to http://en.gravatar.com/ and upload a picture. It will then display on any gravatar-equipped sites, like this one, talleytree-o.com, and other Crossroads sites.
Everything yo do Lauren is so Awesome because of the leadership the Lord has in your life! I look forward to this new adventure!
Lauren, thank you for being so responsive to God’s leading in your life. I love this song, and anxiously await for the CD and book.
Merry Christmas and blessings in the new year.
Wow Lauren that’s beautiful. You truly have a God givin gift. I can’t come out to your concerts because of health reasons but I listen to you music as often as I can. Keep up the good work. Thanks, Don
Lauren your song was absolutely beautiful This is a very sad time for me as I lost both a niece age 19 and a nephew in the past 2 months. due to sudden death. It has left a void in my life and satan is trying his best to steal my joy especially at this time of the year. I’m determined not to let him. Your song blessed me so much. Thank you for your beautiful gifts. You have a very lovely family.
Lauren,
What a beautiful song. This is a very sad time for me as I have just recently in the past 2 months lost both a niece age 19 and a nephew due to sudden a sudden death. Satan is trying his best to steal my joy but I have determined not to let him especially at this time of the year. Your song blessed me so much. It is that song in the night that helps us make it through another day. God Bless You. You have a very lovely family.
Lauren… all the very best on a New Beginning! Keep going from Strength to Strength! Blessings to you and yours..
Lauren–
May God bless your ministry tomorrow as He has today.
“Be blessed to be a blessing”, as you have been to the Belles.

Lauren, How wonderful to see a young lady allowing God to use the talent that God gives to her. My husband and I first heard you sing with your family when you were about three years old when we were living in Maryland. We have faithfully followed you ever since and hearing your voice and the message of the songs often bring tears to our eyes. May God continue to use you to minister to others and touch hearts for Him. Looking forward to reading your book and listening to the CD.

Hi, Lauren. (Happy belated birthday, btw.)
I am eagerly awaiting your CD and book. I watch you sing and although it’s very apparent that your faith is genuine, you sing as though you are unscathed by life or it’s heartaches. I have mulled it over and over, the contrast between your strong faith and conviction versus how happy, lighthearted, warm, and real you are, and I always end up with the realization that God has had to bring you through things with Him in order for you to have acquired such sincerity and faith. I am so thankful to you, your parents, and God that this world has you; you are inspiration to me.
Grace
Grace,
I was intrigued by your post
I guess it’s easy to look at someone on stage and think that they are untouched by life. After all, it is traditionally thought of as the performer’s job to not show when something’s wrong and just sing. The show must go on, right? Well, I decided that I wanted people to know that life happens to everybody, and I can be happy and smile and be confident because of what God has done. There are plenty of days when it’s not all perfect!
But God is faithful. You’ll be hearing a lot more about that because it’s all throughout the book. Thanks for dropping by and hope you enjoy what’s in store!
Hey Lauren, I am having a hard time reading the posts with the white letters and the light background – can I change that myself on your site?
Anyway, I am replying to the comment from the previous post. It is interesting how people interpret how they view certain behavior. I have just recently become aware of you and have acquired your first three cd’s. I saw you and your family on one of the tv shows from the NQC and was intrigued by your voice. I have been listening to your cd’s all week and just want to tell you how much I’ve been getting into them. When I read your liner notes from your last cd, I was pulled in and touched by what you said. Even though I do not know you, I felt that you were going through some difficult times. I just mentioned this to a friend last night as I played some of your songs for him. It’s interesting that I read this subject on your forum today. Those liner notes really got to me, and I felt for you. Like I said before, I really know so very little about you, but reading those notes just got to me. I was hoping that you were okay and that you would record solo music again, because I’m selfish like that, and I’ve just gotten into your music and I’m also greedy and wanted to hear more!
I wonder if you were going through all that we will learn about through your book and cd. I just wanted you to know that I think you touched me. Lauren, I’m here and and I am so thankful you are there. Have been trying to figure out some things of my own lately. So wanted to thank you for touching me and perhaps helping move me forward. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you – Go Saints!!! 13-0 … had to throw that in there! New Orleans is in a frenzy to finally have the team doing so well! Take care, Lauren.
Lisa
As far as I know there is no way to change the way the background looks…you might try adjusting the brightness level of your monitor.
I didn’t record any solo albums for about 4 years because I wanted to wait until I had something very strong and specific to say. I guess sometimes it takes some tough times to give you a message, but I truly believe God has given me something to say to the world and to help people with through this project, and I’m glad it already has touched you.
Hey Lauren, I just highlighted the text and it
changed the background to white and the
letters to blue. I can see it fine now!
P.S. There must be a reason why I just recently
got your last
solo cd and that your liner notes touched me so
much. You can
count me as one more fan. Just love your big, full,
soulful voice. You seem like such a great girl.
Happy New Year.
Lisa
Yes that is a beautiful song. You have such an amazing range. I’ve listened to you for a long time now. I saw you in person at Columbus, Ohio when you were just about nineteen. I couldn’t believe how mature your voice was at that time, and it just keeps getting better. You are doing right by the talents God gave you. Prayers coming your way on your new project and everything you do for Christ. Gpd Bless you and your family.

Hi.

Send my love to yur mum and dad.
Cant wait to february…..hihi
Love from Marita
Dear Lauren, Songs in the Night remind me of many of the passages David wrote in praise to God as he was sheparding flocks of sheep. It is what led to David becoming a man after God’s own heart. The words or the message he wanted to express to God came out in the form of a song, much like the sub-heading(s) of this web-site. First the soul has a message, it celebrates and communicates that message through a song. The caption is right. It’s not about the song, it’s the message. In recognition of such a truth with a sincere heart I am sure you will begin to see someday and understand that what and where you are going will produce recognition in the form of Crowns that God will reserve for you to be presented to you for that first glorious meeting in heaven for not only proclaiming the message, but for sharing it will all that will listen. May God protect you and bless you as you venture on this journey He has for you. Many pray for you and your ministry everyday and trust that God will show His presents everywhere you go….
Hello Mike,
That is where the title “Songs In the Night” comes from – the Psalms. The first essay in the book talks about this very thing! Great minds, huh
Thank you very much for your comment. Keep coming back; God’s going to do some great things.
Lauren when you have the good fortune to have success in life, that’s precisely the time to reinvent yourself ! ” New Beginnings ” is a change for the good, and we are all with you ! Look at all the posts you have gotten in one day ! If you find a dream inside your heart, don’t ever let it go … for dreams can be the tiny seeds from which tomorrow’s grow. MERRY CHRISTMAS !
Hi Lauren,
This was a beautiful song. May the Lord bless you in this new venture. You are young and you are beautiful, use it for the glory of God. I saw you in Burlington Ontario at Compass Point Bible Church. Don’t drive so fast in your TL. Ralph
Lauren, I feel so blessed to have met you at the Steve Hurst School of Music this year. I can truly relate to “New Beginnings.” Every time I look back at the trials that I have faced, the glory of God has always shown through in the end…even though I truly couldn’t have imagined how anything good could come out of terrible situation. He knows how to humble us. This year has brought many blessings to our family, but I know there will always be battles to overcome. However, like your song says, “Until a new day finally comes, I’ll think on all the mighty things He has done.”
God bless, Gail
Hello Gail,
I really enjoyed our time working together at the School. It’s usually the people who don’t say much that have the most to say.
Your quiet spirit is refreshing and I hope we get to do it again next year.
I just want to say thank you for being a willing vessel. Your music has helped me heal after the loss of my husband. He was just two months shy of thirty years old and the pain of his death would have been unbearable without musical reminders of God’s greatness.
Amanda,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your husband. We must be fairly close in age and I can’t imagine what that must be like for you. All I can tell you is that God is there and you are never alone. His plans are not to harm us, but to give us hope and a future. God bless you as you go on….you are welcome back here anytime.
I was so excited to see you have your own website now and will be staying in touch with us to keep us up to date as to what is going on in your life.
Life has been a roller coaster since you were here last. My husband had a heart attack requiring 2 stints and tomorrow I have to go in to have my feeding tube replaced. Please pray this will go well. Our daughter is going through a rough spell as well. Please pray God will keep His angels encamped around her as Satan is playing her like a puppet.
How old is your daughter?
I can’t wait to hear you new material. I sing a lot of your songs, and I really enjoyed listening to you in person. I just love the way God is using you, he has blessed you with a great talents. For you have many talents and you use them to glorify God.
I AM PRAYING FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY FOR THE LORD TO BLESS AN KEEP YOU IN THE CENTER OF HIS BLESSING’S. I AM ALSO PRAYING FOR THE LORD TO BLESS YOUR FAMILY WITH A NEW BUS FOR TRAVELING (PAID FOR) BECAUSE WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.[ THE LORD IS GRANTING THAT SPECIAL PETITION THAT YOU HAVE BEFORE HIM.] THE LORD IS GOING TO RESTORE WHAT THE ENEMY HAS STOLEN. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR BEING IN HIS WILL.
I first saw you sing when you just a wee little girl, I think you might have been 3 or 4 and you might not remember. You sang with your Mom and Dad and your Uncle Kirk who liked to pick on you at a supper club in Newton, NC. I told my son then that this little girl was going to grow up to be a famous gospel singer some day and that dream has come true for you. You bless so many people with your beautiful voice and I can’t wait until your book comes out so I can read it. Thanks for making so many people happy and keep up the good work you are doing for God. He has bless you in many , many ways.
It is just so weird to me that anybody would consider me famous
But I appreciate your comments. Believe it or not I DO remember the Hallelujah Supper Club! I remember one night during the concert a stream of water leaked through the roof LOL. Thanks for coming on board!
You Have An Awesome Voice!!!!! And Can’t Wait For The New Release:) I Will Be Praying For You. Thanks For Being A Blessing!!!!!
all i can say is Thank you. God has given you a wonderful gift to share and we are all blessed because of it. Thank you
I’m so happy that you’re doing this, Lauren! I’ll be on the lookout for your book. Is it available, or released yet? From the first time I heard your voice, (I have my hubby to thank for introducing me to Southern Gospel and other music) I told my husband that I often wonder how the angels sound when they rejoice in Heaven when someone is saved. Hearing you makes me think of angels rejoicing! You do have a wonderful gift and I’ve been blessed to meet you a few times. Whenever you guys are near us, we make sure we’re there! Be sure and keep us updated on the book and CD! Also, have you made any solo DVD’s? I have 2 of you with your family and I love those. It would be fun to have a Lauren DVD too! Thanks for all you do and the wonderful influence that you are!
Hi Wanda,
The new project (book and CD) will be released in March 2010.
Dear Lauren,
(I am a church librarian). The song is so beautiful and touching. Sending love & prayers……
Just wanted you to know I really appreciate your new website……..I can’t wait to share it with some teens at our church. As my daughter (Rachel) and I shared with you at the Gatlinburg Gathering in September you are a wonderful role model for our young people (especially girls) today. I know that puts a tremendous responsibility on you but I believe you will be true to God and that’s what they need to see. Thank you for being willing to share your heart in your music and in the book that is to be published soon. I can’t wait for the book to be released!
I wrote something in my book just for the young ladies out there, so hope they will enjoy that.
Hey girl! This is super exciting! Can’t wait to hear your new cd! Hope things are going well! Miss you bunches!
Why are you having a New Beginning? Is the Talley Trio history? When can you share your new venues?
Hey Jerald,
I thought this question might come up
No the Talley Trio is not history, nor are we on the way out. If you take a look through our tour schedule you’ll see we’re going to be busy for quite some time. This endeavor of mine is an addition to what I do with the Trio.
At the present time, this is more of a new beginning spiritually for me which I’m sure will lead to some new opportunities in the future. All I really know at this point is that God led me to write a book, produce this new recording, and share it all with you through this site, and whatever He brings to pass with it is ok with me.
Hope you enjoy and thanks for posting!
Dear Lauren: Hi there and greetings in the strong and powerful name of Jesus! Thanks for all you do for the body of Christ, and sharing Christ to a searching world! I have the Holy Spirit’s power! The die has been cast. I have stepped over the line. The decision has been made-I’m a disciple of His! I won’t look back ,let up, slow down, back away ,or be still. My past is redeemed ,my present makes sense, and my future is secure. I’m finished with low living ,sight walking, smooth knees, colorless dreams ,tamed visions ,worldly talking, cheap giving, and dwarfed goals. I no longer need preeminence ,position, promotions ,plaudits ,or popularity. I don’t have to be right ,first ,tops ,recognized, praised ,regarded ,or rewarded. I now live by faith ,depend on His presence, walk by patience ,am uplifted by prayer, and labor with power. That’s what it means to be a disciple of Jesus”!!(A national pastor who was later martyred in Zimbabwe Africa).
Great quote, Ron! I was also traveled with The Life Action Singers – for 6 years during the 80’s…small world!

Lauren, Love the song. Saw you and your folks last Friday night in Jacksonville NC. It was very special for me seeing and hearing you and your family especially with the two wonderful choirs. This is the second time I have seen you all in concert (New Bern, NC was the first) and each time was more of a worship service than a concert. What a blessing the Talley’s are for so many of us and what a wonderful role model you are Lauren for the young women of this world. God bless you and your family and I look forward to seeing and hearing you all again.
Hey Lauren
Your music over all has been a inspiration to me It has helped come closer to God and I want to thank you for that. Your new song is a blessing. Please dont ever stop singing or serving God. You are doing a wonderful job. I am also waiting ;patiently for your new CD and book.

I REALLY DO ENJOY YOUR MUSIC. I HAD HEARD OF YOU ALL BUT I HAD NEVER HEARD YOU ALL SING UNTILL MY NEICE IN NEW ZELAND TOLD ME. WHEW, I COULD REALLY FEEL THE SPIRIT WHEN I SAW YOU ALL SING ON MY COMPUTER. I ORDERED A CD FROM YOU ALL. ITS SO GOOD BUT I WOULD,LOVE TO GET A LIVE CD FROM YOU WITH SEARCHING ON IT. HOW WOULD I DO THAT. YOU YOUR MOTHER AND DAD LOOK SO HAPPY. THIS WAS AT GAITHERS, BECAUSE HE INTRDUCED YOU. JASON CRABB SANG THIS SONG WITH YOU ALL. GOD IS REALLY USEING YOU ALL,SO PLEASE KEEP UP THE GOOD SPIRUTAL SOUTHERN GOSPEL SINGING. YOU ALL ARE REALLY BLESSING SOULS. WE LOVE YOU ALL. GOD BLESS, ALIVERN MCDONALD OF VAN BUREN ARKANSAS.
Alivern,
We have not released a live recording with “Searchin’” on it. I believe the only live recording with that song is the Gaither Homecoming Video titled “I Do Believe.”
This song touched me so deeply and I needed it so desperately at this moment — my 29-year-old daughter-in-law was just diagnosed with cancer in her breast, her bones and her liver, and we are devastated, but I WILL songs in the night and pray for miracles. Would appreciate prayers for her — she is not a Christian and my son is not walking with the Lord.
Lauren, I thank you and your family so much for following His leading in your lives so that we may be blessed and encouraged. You have such a gift, and it is so thrilling to know that you are using that gift that God gave you to sing songs of praise to Him.
Praying God’s richest blessings on you and yours.
Love,
Willie Belt (Culpeper, VA — soon to be Jacksonville, FL)
Hi Willie,
I am sorry to hear about your daughter-in-law. I will not promise that everything will turn out perfectly but God is faithful and is by your side through it all. It’s also been my experience that God has a way of using traumatic things to bring a person to realize just how much they need Him, so don’t give up on your kids.
God bless.
Thanks Lauren, I like the new song and truly know what it’s like to sing songs in the night after some trials with little light. Thanks for putting it into a song. I have recently ordered some accompaniment tracks from you thru Bobbie at your office. One we could hardly remember was “His life for Mine” and it was too late to get it on the first. Please let her know that I do need that, PLEASE! Again, THANK YOU for this new song and I am so looking forward to the book.Forever & a Day, Gary
Tell you what, why don’t you drop her an email at info@talleytrio.com. I might forget
I remember the first time I heard you sing. It was at Richards Farm in Casey Illinois. Over the years your spiritual growth has become apparent in the depth of feeling in your voice and the songs you chose. With your talent it would have been easy to use your gift in the secular arena. I thank God you did not. Whenever I want to worship, praise or go to the Throne Room in song, I always pull out a Talley’s CD or one of your solo CD’s. I can’t wait to see what God has done in your life and hear the music of your message. I am and always have been a fan of yours. But first and foremost I am a fan of the One who ordained your life before you were even born.
Hello Lauren!! I’m happy you have a website now! I’ve been a big fan of yours for a long time. I’m one of your friends on facebook. You are very, VERY talented. God certainly gifted you in a good way
Hi Lauren, Thank you for the beautiful song!! I can’t wait for the book to come out… You were telling me about it when we went to see you in umm, I think it was Rhode Island? Or maybe Connecticut?? You & your family had just come back from a cruise that same day. Hmmm… You were telling my nieces & I about how you really climbed up that mountain in those heels on the Rise Above CD!! Love the CD’s by the way
. So is there a way to pre order the book & CD? That would be a great Christmas gift to give to my niece! I’ll need to get one for myself too
. You have a Merry Christmas as well!!!
Right now we’re not ready to take preorders, but I’ll let you know as soon as we are. Thanks!
Dear Lauren, We’ve heard you time and time again and it is still amazing how the Lord just keeps on using you and your wonderful voice to encourage and to sustain us even daily! You and your folks have come to Trinity Baptist Church (Asheville) numerous times and we have been involved with you guys in many opportunities of ministry and my wife and I would like for to know that you ministry has been a great relief and uplifting oasis many days in the battle. You even encourage me as I sing and minister in song in many different occasions and avenues that God has provided. You are truly and inspiration and we are very careful to give God the glory, but thank you for being a will vessel. Keep up the hard work and the “Songs in The Night” single is awesome!!! From our hearts to yours,
Pastor Doug & Mrs. Pam Guy
Hi Lauren,
I just want to thank you for all you do. My daughter has fallen deeply in love with you and your music. I thank God that even though I grew up in a worldly home, my 5 children are growing up in a Godly Christian home. Your families music is played daily in our home. Thank you. I love this new song!! Earlier this year we hosted a summit for building up other churches and have recently started being attacked with some of our strongest families being hurt. I just recently sang for my babies dedication and was my first solo but I think i might like to sing this in church for the ones that are going through hard times. Thank you so very much! Just wanted you to know.
Misty
That is great Misty! The soundtracks will be released most likely in April. (The CD comes out in March)
Lauren,
I was going to ask you the very same question. This song is beautiful not just your voice but the lyrics too. Id love to be able to sing it for a church service myself. Not that I could touch the level of you all. I just love to sing and bless others with a really great song. I have all the Talley albums( lots of soundtracks too) I can get my hands on and all yours too. You are by far my favorite female singer. I am so excited about this new site and more new music to listen to that will brighten my day. I pray God continues to bless and lead you to some super adventures in your “New Beginning”.
hey Lauren,
I listen to you all the time. Your music touches my heart more than any the Lord has given me. You are a blessing. My dad passed away in October. I had been listening to your cd’s and just loved “Into His Arms of Love I Just come Runnin”. That is how I felt & still do. Well, I sure can’t sing anything like you, but the Lord helped me sing this to my mom & for my dad at his funeral. That song sums up who God is to me…..my Father who always has room for me. And, my earthly dad always did, too….but til I see him again…I just keep running into my heavenly Fathers arms who holds me & loves me. Anyhow…gotta run…will chat w/you later….God keep blessing you much! Merry merry Christmas!
Lauren,
I just want you to know how proud I am of you. This is a great undertaking and you continue to inspire not only me, but countless others who you and I will not meet down here, but one day will on Heaven’s golden streets. I can’t wait to hear the CD and read your book. I have been going through quite a struggle myself recently and indeed have been strenghtened by the Lord through your songs. I pray more of the Lord’s blessings upon you in the days to come. God Bless
Stephen
wow really nice picture of you on the site, you look great. I look forward to hearing the new album and reading the new book. I bet you’ve got some stories to tell in the book that could help a lot of people. Well I am just guessing, cause I don’t know what the book is about yet. I love your singing and your voice, truly an instrument from God. You are such an inspiration and a encouragement to young woman of God like me. I just turned 28.

What a beautiful and inspiring song. Cannot not wait to hear the entire CD. God is truly amazing he shows daily in all that he uses me as an instrument to do. I love to sing, praise and worship my Lord in music. Your previous CD’s I have enjoyed tremendously; thank you for letting God use you with your talent. May God continue to bless you as you journey with him in spreading his love.
This is a wonderful song to help anyone who is going through anything, any step of life. I appreciate you allowing us, your fans, to allow us to download it.

Lauren, You have such a beautiful voice. Continue to use it for the Lord. Don’t run off and leave your Mom and Dad yet. You can’t be that old. Merry Christmas Rebekah k Jones
LOL well I suppose 27 isn’t old, but no I don’t have any plans to leave the group. This is an addition to what I do with them; I’m merely expanding what I do individually. We’ll be around for a while
Love the new site Lauren..Can’t wait to hear the new CD and also read your book. Hope you have a very Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year!
Love You,
Kelley
Lauren, what more can I say that hasn’t already been said. I don’t wish “good luck” because I don’t believe in “luck.” You’re obviously hearing God’s call so I leave you with this prayer:
“May the Lord bless you and keep you safe in your travels. May He make know His presence when you need comforting and may you be alert to His guidance whenever He wants you to make a change. May the seeds you plant always be in fertile ground.”
Your song really touched my heart. Thanks for sharing. It’s hard to trust sometimes when there seems to be little light. This helps a lot.
He is deeply spiritual. My daughter has wandered away though.
Also, hope my son meets someone like you some day! (He turned 28 in Nov. and works too hard
Best to you Lauren.
Lauren,

Oh well… Oh, I haven’t talked to you since your other important announcement… Wink Wink! Congrats on that even more! Hi Lauren, I love the new song. It is so beautiful. Wish you were close by, I would bake you a 20 layer chocolate cake to celebrate your birthday. Hope you had a great one and looking forward to a very Merry Christmas. My friends and I often talk about you and our trip to NQC. We really had so much fun and looking forward to next year. We can’t wait to see you. Keep up the good work and God’s blessings on your new project. Your friend, AKA …Kenya ha. ha.
I will never forget y’all!
Stay in touch!
lauren, who wrote this song? and did you produce it?
Jim Brady (of Booth Brothers fame) is the writer of “Songs In The Night.” I emailed him an essay from the book and asked if he would write a song for it, and in my opinion he did a great job! He also has one other cut on the project, which I did in fact produce myself. Hope you like the rest of ‘em!
Lauren,
Merry Christmas. Hope you have lovely holidays! Go Saints! 13 – 0 !
Hey Lauren
Beautiful song!! I just got to see you and your family for the second time when you came to mississippi. I am hoping to get to Mobile and see you and your family again.Your music is so moving to me. !I feel the Lord pouring through your music. It really speaks to me. I turn on one of you Cd every morning for my praise and worship time. I love to sing with them . Merry Christmas
Julie
Hi Lauren,
I’ve enjoyed your family and your music for many years. My friends laugh when we go on trips because they know that I will always have every Talley CD on hand to listen too. I have sang many of your songs at my local church. There not much of an age difference but I’ve realized we have had many similaries in our life. I pray that all is well with you and your family.
I do have one question, mostly a teasing, but I’ve been listen to your music over 10 years and from my knowledge. You have never had a concert in Arizona, except one time I saw you family at a Gather Homecoming some years ago. Your family only sang one song during that time. I ask that you guys sneak on over to AZ some time, I would love to finally meet you in person one of these days! Since I am your biggest fan in the great state of Arizona the state that has every thing from A to Z! LOL
Have a Merry Christmas!
Jacqueline
Hey Jacqueline,
No, we’ve never done a Talley concert in Arizona! The reason is because it is very expensive and time-consuming for an East Coast group to travel that far for just one concert. Most groups that travel out West plan several concerts in one long trip to make it more feasible, and we have just never attempted to do that, especially since fuel costs became so high a few years ago. But never say never- we just may show up one day
That what I’m hoping for, when a southern gospel group heads our way the concerts fill up! LOL Yeap the Wild West never gets the southern singers! I guess I will just have to take a trip out there one of these days! If there is another Gather Homecoming head this way, & your on the list I will sure to go! Thanks again!
Jac
Or you could just come to Singing In The Sun or Gatlinburg Gathering and hear a ton of groups all at once.
Just a suggestion
Well my husband and little guys are asleep so I finally get time to get on the computer. I was checking out all of the comments on here. Isn’t great what happens when you follow God???
I thought I was going to be a big famous country singer but God had better plans. Once I got married I saw how life and love changes you. I dabbled in the music biz and modeled for Jennifer Lopez. Sounds great right? Well I wasn’t happy. God gave us a great gift of our first son, Brennan. Suddenly I found out that God placed Brennan in our lives, at that time to save me from a life that wasn’t for me. I was two weeks away from signing a contract with Buddy Lee Attractions.Would I have been strong enough in my Faith to ward off all the negative lifestyles that come along with that? I don’t know but God did. I am now a youth pastor and I have a great testimony to tell our youth. Money,Looks and Fame are not why we are here. Of course they have asked me why I gave up a chance to be famous…I tell them that I didn’t give it up, I traded it in for a better life with Christ.
I guess I said all of that to just tell you that you have so much support in whatever Christ has for you. I know you know that but sometimes it helps just to hear it from others who know what it is like to “step out” of our normal walk and to begin a new one that is better !!
I am here for you and Bless you and UT…LOL,
Rachel Dunn
Lauren, this song reaches me to the deepest recesses, especially since I still struggle with not being able to sleep. I can relate to the emotional truth of this song, and it gives me pause to remember to “sing” His praises, leave my worries to Him, and then know I can sleep fully and peacefully. Thank you so much for reminding me to praise Him, even in the darkest hour!
Arleen
haven’t heard the song because i have no speakers
but im sure its great….im just here to say im 16 and i feel alone in the world because of my faith at my age and its great to look at someone closer to my age than most that publicly sings about hers…thanks for staying firm in your faith and i hope to be the same at 27!!!!!
Hannah,
So glad to hear from you! Rest assured you are not the only one out there. When I was 16 I was already a full-time gospel singer…definitely not your average extracurricular activity! But think about this…Queen Esther’s cousin, Mordecai, told her that she had been placed in the palace for “such a time as this.” God may have placed you exactly where you are to make a big difference for Him. Your Godly influence can reach a lot of people without your ever knowing about it, so stay strong and stay in touch!
Thanks so much… i really appreciate that…. i ill definitley stay in touch..
I love the story of Queen Esther! One of my faves!!!!! I will stay strong even
when it’s difficult. I tryto but with things goin on in the teenage world
today it’s difficult! Thanks so much for the advice, and trust me, I will
keep in touch!!!!
Lauren, you are the best! Your love of our Lord resonates in your songs! What a great God we serve!
MERRY CHRISTMAS LAUREN TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY! GOD BLESS YOU
To you and your family,I pray this will be a wonderful Christmas for you all. when my son was a little boy he had a lisp and could’nt say happy new year,he would say happy new you! and thats how 1 feel about you and roger and debra.
HAPPY NEW YOU!
in my heart
louise
Lauren, you are a very gifted person in all aspects of your industry, but I don’t recall you having written many songs? I think with your love for God and soft kind heart for people a song is just bursting to come out ! Best Wishes !
I’ve never written a song in my life
Well I was a co-writer for a song on our “Rise Above” CD, but I didn’t come up with the idea. I think my gifts are more suited to arranging, producing and singing other people’s songs
but you never know!
I love your version of He’s Alive…..it is awesome…..I want to purchase the CD as soon as I can. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Lauren,
I can’t wait to hear the new material. Also, i pray that God will continue to bless you as you seek Him and Obey His still small voice! Trust me, I’ve wanted to steer too, but in the end letting God lead has always had a better outcome!
Blessings,
Alicia Roark
Love your new online website, Lauren! Looking forward to the great things God has in store for you! We enjoyed meeting and seeing you and your family at “Snging in the Barn” in Chambersburg, PA over last year and also at NQC the past couple of years! Lord willing we will be seeing you again at Singing in the Sun and NQC in 2010! Love your music and your family! Hope you had a very Merry Christmas!
Many blessings to you,
Angie
kept on searchin till i found the king of kings, jamin to your music, the Talley’s music lifts me and makes my spirit upbeat and minster’s to me at the same time.
THANKYOU TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY FOR BLESSING OTHERS WITH THOSE SONGS AND TALENTED VOICES!
Did you have a nice Christmas Lauren?
Lauren,
I am a huge fan who lives in Texas. My husband and I traveled to Joplin, Mo. this summer to see you and your family in a little bitty church. It was well worth the drive. We got to meet you and visit with you and your mom. What awesome women of faith you are!!! I had some C.D.’s of Talley Trio but didn’t have any of you alone. I bought one and was so blessed by it. It touched my soul. Recently I just bought another one that was made it 2001, and again, it blessed me so richly! Your gift is your voice and you use it so beautifully to glorify the Lord. He has such great plans for you! I can’t wait until March to hear your new C.D. and buy your new book!
God Bless You,
Liz Payne
Hey Liz,
I remember that night in Joplin
So glad you joined us here…stay tuned for lots more to come!
Lauren, so glad you’re doing this. The year 2009 has been a difficult year for me and God has taken me through some hard times and shown me His faithfulness is ways I can’t begin to explain. He is leading me down an unknown path and I relate that it’s scary when you aren’t in the driver’s seat. But He said He would never leave or forsake us, so I too am trusting.
Praying for strength for your journey,
Susan
I’m having a little bit of trouble viewing your site in Safari, but it may just be my computer. Apart from that, I love your site. I plan on browsing around and reading some more posts!
